PhycoHealth Seaweed Skincare Review (And Discount!)

Bad news for peri/menopause… Here’s something to finally combat that crepey, dry skin and to support skin cell growth and collagen production. AND no need to wait for Black Friday for a discount — just use code GAY91404 for 15% off any season, any occasion, any time of the year.

Transparency for starters: I received a PhycoHealth parcel as a gift and was asked to give an honest feedback and review of their products. I’m 46 and have been an avid fan of Korean products for years now as they agree with my perimenopausal skin. When I received this offer, I was quite thrilled to give my K-skincare a break and give this Aussie one a go, especially after reading about its key ingredient Phyaluronic®, a product of years of seaweed research. Heaps of reading materials on the PhycoHealth Website.

I’ve been using PHYALURONIC® Cleanse, PHYALURONIC® Soothe and PHYALURONIC® Nourish for two months now. Cleanser leaves skin feeling fresh, and just a little bit of Nourish kept my face moisturised throughout a crisp spring day. The scent of each product has a nice, clean, organic smell — not like a synthetic perfume. When I use Nourish under makeup, I go a bit more heavy (I start with Soothe Serum as primer) to smooth out wrinkles before dabbing foundation on.

Transitioning into summer, Nourish can feel a bit hot on first application (can substitute with just Soothe on its own), so I let it set for a minute of two before putting sunscreen and makeup.

The effect on my skin wasn’t overnight (unlike with other products I have used). It was more of a slow burn, and conistency is key. I also use Nourish on my neck and decolletage, even on my elbows. My skin has been bouncy since second week of use, and hasn’t felt dry since. Keen to find out the long term benefits and hopefully, you get to try and find out too.
